Ranil Jayawardena, Member of Parliament for North East Hampshire held a public meeting in Monk Sherborne Village Hall for residents to raise the issues that matter to them on Friday 17th February.
The session started with Ranil outlining a little more about his work in Parliament, before moving on to questions from over 25 villagers who attended to put their questions to him. Discussion ranged from Brexit, to Donald Trump, to the NHS and adult social care.
Ranil said; “Being an MP is about serving the great people of North East Hampshire, which is why I organise these ‘Tell Ranil’ public meetings to hear more on the issues that matter to local folk. It’s fantastic to hear more of what local people think before I speak on these issues in Parliament.
