Steve Forster was re elected as Hart Councilor fro Fleet West ward 2021 Hart District Council elections and also to Hampshire County Council for the Fleet Town division...
He was first elected, in 2016, alongside his daughter, to Fleet West & Elvetham at Hart Council, and then as county Councillor for Fleet Town in 2017.
Steve has lived in the centre of Fleet since 1997. He is always proactive, as well as totally responsive to resident's needs. He always puts residents' interests first, before party - but can leverage the support of great colleagues.e. He’s campaigned tirelessly and successfully against over development, for safer roads. increased CCTV and reduced crime, improved facilities for young people, and an end to council secrecy..
He’s on Hart’s sustainability Working Group where Conservatives are in opposition; at Hampshire County Council he is the Executive (Cabinet) member for Education, including schools and libraries for all of the county.
His experience of running and building top performing and flexible businesses is helpful - along with his interest in green initiatives, including active travel (cycling and walking) and EVs.
